Access to the gallery asset curation engine is metered with x402: 0.01 HBAR or 0.01 HTS USDC per call, paid from the embedded wallet, so painters — or the agents working for them — pay per query and get a HashScan receipt every time.

Why this primitiveTraditional provenance is a hurdle; x402 turns it into a metered service. By using pay-per-use authentication, galleries can monetize the 'look but don't touch' digital twin interactions, making security checks a profitable micro-transaction rather than an administrative cost.
