Access to the art ownership tracking engine is metered with x402: 0.01 HBAR or 0.01 HTS USDC per call, paid from the embedded wallet, so painters — or the agents working for them — pay per query and get a HashScan receipt every time.

Why this primitiveBy moving provenance from a static database to a pay-per-update model, we eliminate spam and turn the history of an object into a revenue-generating asset for the protocol. Every scan and every transfer signature becomes a micro-transactional proof-of-status.
