Access to the joint creation records engine is metered with x402: 0.01 HBAR or 0.01 HTS USDC per call, paid from the embedded wallet, so painters — or the agents working for them — pay per query and get a HashScan receipt every time.

Why this primitiveInstead of a passive log, the x402 model forces a financial handshake for every edit. This eliminates 'credit-camping' and replaces manual attribution with a hard-coded ledger where the transaction hash is the proof of work.
