Echo · x402
A pay-per-read narrative sandbox where users unlock essays for 0.01 USDC. Every HTS transfer signature facilitates a micro-settlement directly to the author's wallet, turning digital prose into a metered asset. No subscriptions, no gatekeepers—just high-fidelity narrative content paid for by the paragraph or the piece.
The primitive.
Access to the narrative essays engine is metered with x402: 0.01 HBAR or 0.01 HTS USDC per call, paid from the embedded wallet, so writers — or the agents working for them — pay per query and get a HashScan receipt every time.
Why this primitiveBy removing the friction of high gas fees and traditional paywalls, x402 enables a 'nanopayment' model for literature. Writers receive instant liquidity for their work, and readers only pay for what they consume, with provenance baked into the settlement hash.
