Payment triggers the IPFS CID reveal of the specific encode, ensuring compute costs are instantly cleared by the consumer.

Access to the video encoding engine is metered with x402: 0.01 HBAR or 0.01 HTS USDC per call, paid from the embedded wallet, so videographers — or the agents working for them — pay per query and get a HashScan receipt every time.
Why this primitiveVideo transcoding is computationally expensive. By moving from a subscription model to a pay-per-format-unlock (x402), creators can offer high-fidelity files without bearing the storage/compute overhead for non-existent audiences. Each transaction settles a Base receipt for the specific resolution manifest.
