Access to the remix licensing engine is metered with x402: 0.01 HBAR or 0.01 HTS USDC per call, paid from the embedded wallet, so musicians — or the agents working for them — pay per query and get a HashScan receipt every time.

Why this primitiveRemixing is currently deadlocked by legal friction. By turning stem access into a metered x402 event, we monetize the 'attempt' (sampling) rather than just the 'result' (distribution), creating immediate cash flow for producers and permissionless legal clearance for remixers.
