Access to the limited drop authentication engine is metered with x402: 0.01 HBAR or 0.01 HTS USDC per call, paid from the embedded wallet, so fashion designers — or the agents working for them — pay per query and get a HashScan receipt every time.

Why this primitiveShifts the model from a 'free scan' to a 'pay-per-claim' and 'pay-per-verify' utility. This eliminates bot-spamming of drop registrations and creates a recurring revenue stream for designers every time the garment's digital identity is queried.
